The Mental Health Professionals Equity Alliance (MHPEA) provides practical education around the systems and decisions that affect mental health professionals every day.
Mental health professionals are being asked to navigate an increasingly complex healthcare environment including insurance requirements, credentialing, billing, legal and ethical considerations, technology platforms, new healthcare models, and changing regulations.
While the systems surrounding mental healthcare continue to evolve, clinicians still have to make decisions every day about how to practice, how to structure their businesses, and how to build careers that are financially sustainable.
MHPEA exists to help make those decisions easier to navigate.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing practical education and support to mental health professionals navigating the systems that shape modern mental healthcare.
