Susie Rigas-Morozowich, LMSW, LCSW, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TelebehavioralHealth.US and a founding board member of the Mental Health Professionals Equity Alliance (MHPEA). A licensed clinical social worker with over two decades of experience, Susan has dedicated her career to reshaping the mental healthcare system to be more accessible, equitable, and sustainable for both clients and clinicians.
In 2016, she launched TelebehavioralHealth.US in response to workforce shortages and gaps in access to care. As one of the nation’s first fully digital behavioral health practices and a pioneer in the direct-to-consumer telemedicine model, TBH.US has expanded to deliver virtual outpatient mental health and substance use treatment across eleven states, serving individuals aged seven and up. The organization is credentialed with over 45 payers, including Medicare and Medicaid, and operates entirely virtually.
Under Susan’s leadership, TBH.US has earned a reputation for clinical integrity, environmental consciousness, and provider-centered innovation. The company offers clinicians flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and reduced administrative burdens, all within a woman-owned, facility-free framework designed to support long-term sustainability and community impact.
At MHPEA, Susan contributes to national strategy, legislative efforts, and media advocacy aimed at restoring provider autonomy and confronting systemic threats to ethical mental healthcare. Her work addresses the dangers of insurance overreach, exploitative reimbursement practices, and the influence of private equity and venture capital in mental health delivery.
Susan holds a Master of Social Work from Grand Valley State University, where she has also served as an adjunct instructor. She mentors emerging clinicians in motivational interviewing, neurodiversity-affirming practices, outcome-oriented treatment, and trauma-informed care.
A proud neurodivergent leader, Susan finds balance and inspiration skating Michigan’s scenic trails in her Moxi skates. This outlet, which she calls her “special area of interest,” fuels the same energy and focus she brings to advocacy and innovation.
