Jennifer Koriath, LPC
Board Member

Jennifer Koriath earned her master’s degree in counseling from Adler University in Chicago in 2014 and has since worked in diverse settings, including community mental health, hospitals, and insurance companies. She is trained in EMDR and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and has supported both adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, chronic pain, stress, relationship challenges, and self-esteem issues.
Her approach is rooted in the belief that therapy should be client-centered, adapting methods to fit each individual’s unique needs. Rather than adhering strictly to one theory, Jennifer focuses on helping clients gain perspective, foster growth, and achieve the changes they seek. She aims to “walk with” clients through their process—providing tools, encouragement, and a safe, supportive environment where they feel valued, understood, and accepted. Jennifer holds licenses in both Colorado and Illinois.
Jennifer’s involvement in MHPEA is driven by her commitment to true mental health parity and to making care accessible and equitable for all. Having witnessed firsthand the impact of systemic barriers and insurance limitations, she is passionate about working toward solutions that remove obstacles and ensure people can receive the support they need.
