Emily Allaire, LCSW

Emily Allaire (she/her) is a trauma-focused, Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Waterloo, Iowa. A certified perinatal mental health clinician, she specializes in perinatal mental and emotional health, infertility, perinatal loss and newborn death, birth trauma, NICU families, and women’s issues.

Emily’s clinical approach integrates psychotherapy, EMDR, Ego State and Parts Work, Polyvagal Theory, and cognitive behavioral therapies. She is committed to helping clients transform how they view themselves, their relationships, and their responsibilities, while redefining the world around them. Through exploration, open discussion, and self-forgiveness, she works alongside clients to shift from negative self-talk toward healthy coping strategies and self-love.

Emily is involved in MHPEA to collaborate with like-minded colleagues who are equally dedicated to protecting the profession, supporting clients, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health care.
